Has anyone created a badge or something similar for customer award winners to use on their LinkedIn, share etc? Wondering if you just created an image/graphic that they could share in an LinkedIn post or went down the route of a legit badge/certification like a credly or other option? I'd love figure out a way to have a more "official" designation for an individual or company that they were a 2024 award winner!
might have some ideas on this because she is in the education space. A lot of people make graphics to put in the Experience section of LinkedIn.
For me personally, I think the path of certification is too much, I think it's best to build a brand around an award and go from there. But, has experience with Awards at Adobe, , might be able to weigh in as well.
We used to create custom linkedin banners and badges for award winners and those selected to be Marketo Champs - you can see an example here: https://www.linkedin.com/in/brookembartos/
We just launched our first customer awards program at Intellum.
Here was my post announcing the winners (used a carousel): https://www.linkedin.com/posts/shannonlagassehoward_2024-intellum-growth-makers-awards-ugcPost-7252797792283168769-gnVu?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_ios
I used the same image on our company, LinkedIn and it performed really well. We used the customer rewards program to build customer relationships and identify case studies. It has also had the additional benefit of bumping our engagement up to the executive level, opening some doors for expansion.
We gave customers digital assets to promote: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/liamkilgallon_it-gives-me-great-pleasure-to-share-mews-activity-7248950308687478785-YFuc?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_ios
Most of them published on their personal LinkedIn. A couple published on their company LinkedIn to celebrate. We, of course, posted a few times about it. We also highlighted the winners at our virtual conference last month, sent a physical award, and sent a gift to each customer (we chose 3 options and let them pick their preference).
Overall, hugely successful.
We created badges for our awards program. We put the badges on the social graphics (including LinkedIn headers) and we shared the badge files in case they wanted to create their own graphics or add it to their website. Many decided to update the headline of their LinkedIn to indicate they were selected or they added it to the awards and recognition section of their profile. We also turned the badges into physical enamel pins that we sent to all finalists, which was actually a hit. Here is our program landing page where you can see the badge design: https://www.wrike.com/elite-100-finalists/
