Estimating the revenue value of advocacy content

hello! Curious if anyone has conducted any exercises to estimate the revenue value of specific types of advocacy content, like case studies? I know Influitive had this at one point but I don’t think I saved any of those old docs.
We’re attempting to make a case to our finance teams to get discounts for customers who agree to do advocacy activities, upon renewal or new business.

The points aspect came up under a recent conversation, Amy Ng shared. I'm not sure if I've seen anything about the specific value of each activity. I think that comes from sales or sales enablement. I have heard that sales people will pay up to $250 per reference though.

Is that $250 as an incentive to the customer for participating as a reference?
