Driving Attendance at Intimate Meals with C-Suite Execs at Dreamforce

Hi all - looking for ways to encourage prospects and customers to join our VIP events at Dreamforce. These are VP and C suite Finance and Product execs. Curious how you have driven attendance at intimate meals with your execs as bigger events. Or what you have seen others do at these large events. Thank you!

With so many events going on throughout DF, it’s really about what’s in it for them. There’s definitely a lot of general marketing tactics like giveaways that you can do. It would be something they can instantly earn or a chance at winning by completing specific events with you (I.e. see a demo at your booth + meet with sales + attend X happy hour/dinner).

For prospects, I’m sure your sales team are booking meetings so maybe the big draw for an intimate meal is making it the official time they can meet with your CRO or even your CEO.

For customers, you could offer them a free expo pass if they attend a special customer-specific meetup that you are holding (I.e. you’re holding a customer dinner, appreciation event, or feedback meeting).

Let them know who else will be in the room - give them a few names/logos that will be appealing to them specifically. And let them know what they will get out of the event. If they know the value they can expect to receive from attending, they're more likely to come.
